Hello Stef – That’s a very neat idea and looking forward to seeing your next project.

Re: Ozone Chrono V3

I have always flown my Chrono’s (V1’s) on 25m lines (standard issue) for all sizes 18m,12m & 9m and never really considered using any other length of line. Are there any proven benefits using different line lengths for a given size of foil? I’m happy with my current setup, so presumably it’s persona...

Re: Foil kite resistance against hitting the water

Not sure as to what additional design improvements could be introduced to prevent damage from occurring, but keeping the kite in the air is the way to go despite being "water relaunchable" There is only so many hard landings a kite can take before something breaks. Have seen many kites damaged and i...

Re: Ozone Chrono V3

Whether or not the kite was pre-inflated it looked like a text book launch to me.

Re: Ozone Chrono V3

My understanding is that Ozone Kites operates a “just in time” (JIT) business model and manufactures goods as required, resulting in “zero” surplus stock sitting on the shelf.
I have never paid the full RRP, nor have purchased goods online, always telephone the dealer to see what they can do for you.

Re: Ozone Chrono V3

On the assumption that the R1 will be continuing, I assume they’re not aiming for this to be a race kite. However it does beg the question what the distinction is between the intended uses for Hyperlink and Chrono, although I was already confused about that anyway...! I can understand how defining ...

Re: Ozone Chrono V3

With respect to the subject of stability, my Chrono V1’s fly beautifully and do exactly what I ask of them. However, I have experienced gusty winds as well as a wind that varied in speed as well as direction which required constant sheeting in/out to maintain kite stability. It was so bad I decided ...

Re: Ozone speed system adjustment

Shame about the missing Z line (KR1 Extension pigtail) but if you have some spare line of a suitable breaking strain they are easy to make. As for the missing kite bar pigtails are you sure they are part of the kit as you can simply use the existing ones. Does the Pro-tune speed system kit lists wha...

Re: 2017 Airline Sports Baggage Fees & Rules

For anyone flying with SriLankan Airlines from LHR. Have flown with SriLankan Airlines a number of times from LHR to Male (Maldives) via Colombo, who were excellent and never had a problems with the luggage transfer including board when transferring for the flight from Colombo to Male. At LHR, your ...

Re: New foil from Ozone

Looking at your picture I didn’t take into consideration that you are foilboarding as well as riding strapless which adds more complexities and at the same time learning to master foil kites. You certainly have a lot to think about. With reference to the pulley binding, was that the result of a seiz...
