I am your weight, live on Maui and a 10m is my biggest kite. I get 90% of the days. You will probably be on 7m the most. If you have to choose, I say 7,9
What month would you say has best reliable winds ?
April through October is 90%+

Re: Hotel Recommendation Maui

Get a VRBO in Paia or stay at the Paia Inn http://paiainn.com/ would be another option. You can kite off of Baldwin Beach if you are intermediate.

Re: Maui Hawaii - Early march good?

March is good. Still in waves season, but getting closer to summer which is when the wind blows every day. Sweet spot is late march-late april; mid-october - mid-november. Best combo of waves and wind.

I attended the event in San Francisco. Definitely worth the ticket price. They did a great job with the movie.

EDT. No I don't think Arron receives a higher score on that particular trick for wearing boots, but rather because he is the only one who dares do it. So by this definition, Jesse's kiteloop front mobe should have scored equally as high because no one else even tried it. Personally, the megaloop KG...

Re: Maui

Bring a 10 or 12m and you will be fine. Forecast is usually 5 lower than reality.
