Using 2017 North Evo 11m and 8m with one bar?

Can someone recommend one North bar that i can use on both my 11m and 8m North Evos? Ideally i'd like to be able to adjust the bar width and the line length . Would a 2017 trust bar (small/medium) be ok? Does it come with line extensions to reduce the 24mm lies (for the 11m) to 22mm (for the 8m)? I'...

Re: Wheres good for summer waves?

You can check the wind statistics of Kalpitiya; we have the same wind. https://www.windguru.cz/archive-stats.php?id_spot=115722 However, in Kalpitiya, the wind comes overland, which makes it more gusty. And the termical effects of the sand dunes don't help (it slows down the trade wind) Also there ...

Re: Strapless board for a big guy

At 215 you need to be on a 5.4 or 5.6 FW Vanguard or the 5.3 or 5.5 Vader depending on your rocker preference and what waves you typically ride. The FW boards simply ride SO much better than any of the boards the kite companies are putting out. Ok, you're actually not the first to say that but at 6...

Re: Strapless board for a big guy

I actually have the Underground Kipuna 5'8" ( http://www.undergroundkiteboards.com/product/kipuna/) Its identical to the Axis and Lightwave boards and i love it for small waves and chop but want something ...

Strapless board for a big guy

Can anyone recommend a good board for a big guy. I'm 6'5" and 215 pounds (195 cm and 98kg)? Just spent a lot of money on a reputable brand that i though would be good. The board behaves so well and flexes perfectly wave-riding but, Whilst i haven't snapped it, after only one session there are huge p...

Strapless + leash in big waves?

Just wondering what your thoughts are using a leg leash in big waves? the advantages are obvious in that it keeps the board within reach but i've instances where i've been worked and the board and leash have somehow got caught up in the kite lines which is pretty scary. and yes, i wear a helmet when...
