Re: Drifer vs Renegade,vs Noise

I have rode the 2012 noise heaps and the 2013 for 2 seven mile downwinders in shoulder to head high on both a skim and surfboard. It's a great surf kite but I wasn't too impressed compared to the Drifter/Cabo. The Drifter I rode for about 4 hours on two separate days in waist-chest high surf and had...

Re: Drifer vs Renegade,vs Noise

Try the new Best Cabo, had a demo on one and it is way better than the noise and a little better than the drifter. I haven't flown the renegade. The noise back stalled heaps and wasn't good to unhook on. Drifter was a bit better unhooked. Cabo could ride unhooked for awhile and could focus more on t...

Re: A "Real" Shame

True story, no distortion, judgement. I will leave that to you all to consider. My friend paid for a 3 night stay at Waterman's retreat. (Not cheap) I realize that this does not entitle you to the world, but when he had a BAD crash at Planet of the Apes, we kited back to Real and asked for assistan...

Re: Goods kites for 7-8 knots??

I use a 12m C kite in winds starting at 5 knots anything over 10 knots I get a little scared and start using my 9m. Riding in 5-10 knots is sick, it's really help me practice my skills. If you want to train to race michael phelps, then drop some loot on the biggest kite you can find and go ride thos...

Re: Why doesnt Real sell Cabrina, Ozone or North etc.

Kite shops aren't charities, they need money to live and stock gear. Real has always helped me out if I needed anything. Everytime I need a part they had it in stock. Isn't real responsible for making kiting grow in the US, by doing so more gear gets sold and the locals shops get more business. Last...

Re: Kiteboarding Spare parts online????? Please help.

Maybe you should fly slingshot they have parts for kites that are old as crap. If the new gear you buy is a year old it will cost alot less than the newest kite out. Some kite companies don't offer spare parts because they want you to get new kites when yours fails. If you state what brand and parts...

Re: Kiteboarding Spare parts online????? Please help.

Sorry no one dropped to their knees and responded. Do some research yourself before bitching about people not giving you an answer in 8 hours. If your spending 6k on kites then you can afford to get new gear every year. I replace my gear every year and don't spend that much. I'm always on new gear s...
