Re: Mast length....?

I use the 70 on the Naish Medium Surf wing in large bay chop. It is a very forgiving wing for breaches and the 70 gives a more connected feel to the wing.
And fitted to a pocket board the setup fits in the car with no disassembly, yep, I’m lazy.

Re: New foiler- straps setups

I have been using the setup on this board, a pocket board and now a race board and foil for the past 18 months. Never once have I become locked in during a crash, and there have been a lot.

Re: New foiler- straps setups

Similar in use and safety to a foot hook but without the breakage probems, is what we have called the mono strap. It runs across the board, from the front strap outer holes. Due to its width it allows the foot to rotate out of the strap in a crash, rather than being locked in like a dual front strap...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Thanks Armin for your detailed reply. I think I may have found the problem. The rings are welded, so one part of the ring is not so smooth. On my kite one of the rings had this welded area under the loop/larks head. It was stuck out pointing up, rather than down like the other 3. It was also difficu...

Re: Pansh Genesis and some tuning

Well I have put in size suggestions, now up to them to decide if they go ahead with production. Maybe send them an email asking if more sizes will become available, shows that there is interest.

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Thanks, so not just me. I guess they moved away from ELC’s when they stopped selling bars with kite, personally I still have a bar for every kite and never disconnect them. I guess by looping through the ring, rather than the larks head around the line above it, the problem would be solved, but I wo...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Been out on my 12 mtr Soul about 6 times. On 2 occasions I have had the rear lines hook on the small stainless rings now used to attach the flying lines to the bridle. It doesn’t effect the flying characteristics and eventually clears if the kite is dropped. Having used older flysurfers using easy l...

Naish XL surf wing

Has anyone had a chance to try the Naish XL Surf wing on a kitefoil. I’m 80kg/176lbs, currently riding the Naish medium surf, maybe an upgrade is in order?
