Re: Switch Method V2

So lighter bar pressure than the original method and a little more stable at the edge of the window is what I'm reading? I remember those being 2 traits that were brought up here when the original kite came out. Sizing still the same as the first version?

Re: Surf Kiters - Inserts vs. No Inserts - You Decide

My thoughts: - Most of us 'mortals' are not going to notice the difference in performance - I can't believe that weight is much of an issue either - If the inserts are there you have the choice to use them or not use them. You can add only a tail pad and wax and still surf the board or kite it with...

Re: Switch Kites: are they any good?

I got a chance to demo a 7m Element yesterday. Winds were probably 25-35. I'm 210 pounds. So this is typical 7m conditions for me. And the kite felt super jerky. It did not handle gusts well at all in my opinion. You couldn't just sheet-out to deal with the gusts. It just yanked you and you'd have ...

Did I read that correctly on the video that you used Type F in your epoxy resin?

Re: The king of kite pumps

Oh for gods sake! Just pump the thing up by hand, if you can't be bothered you shouldn't be kiting! Why are people so lazy? Pumping a 12m kite by hand takes 2 mins and is a good warm up.....what do you do if you have to walk to access the beach? I can understand if you have a kite school and need t...

Try searching "stacked kites" or similar and you will find a wealth of information including pictures of people doing just that.

Re: Maui Kiteboarding

Too late to change your hotel to Kihei?

Even if it's a big kona blowing in from the south you probably wont do any kiting on the E side of the island. Drive to Kanaha when the trade winds are blowing.
