Re: Screws loosening themselves ?

I sealed my wing bolts and connections up with RTV silicone. Works a treat to keen the sea water out. Which is good because my threaded inserts are only 304.
The by product is that my bolts don't come loose.

I dry fit the bolts on the mast plate and give them a tweek every ride just incase!

Re: Confused on these crazy upwind angles and apparent wind

Also remember that you have a new wind window when at speed. That wind window is in line with the apparent wind direction not the actual wind. So the faster you go the further back the wind window shifts. When the wind window shifts back far enough so your kite sites at the edge but is 90 deg to you...

I think also if you have to ask then the answer is you are not experienced enough to dabble in significant...

Re: Stabilizer angle

I'd like to add the more AOA on the rear wing (trailing edge up) the more stable the foil becomes. Ir also dulls of maneuverability and reduce top speed. Inversely the less aoa (I cant think like Peters backwards pedantic logic) you have on the rear wing the less stable the foil becomes but more man...

Re: Downlooping the kite during toeside to heel side carve

hmmmm. I probably prefer the toe to heal down loop. Maybe practice undergunned with a smaller kite so you can loop anywhere and any time In the window. Then throw the loop earlier and later to get the timing right. If loosing line tension you can always through a double loop or front loop/back loop ...

Well I never ride without sun glasses on. Even in the rain!..... Works for me. But my eyes are sensitive to the light.

Re: Review: Are these twins identical? Moses 550 vs 548 front wings compared

It must be a change in the foil profile that makes the difference. Not the 2mm reduced size!
