We all know a few brands of 5 meter kites that are twitchy as hell, they are like a bumblebee up there. which 5's give you the most confidence? Small kites are just that, fast! I used once a 5.5 and never did that again. What a nightmare for me. So fast, and such a rush down when you are in the air. Didn't do one trick... And those strong wind are just that: gusty! For me, no fun at all. But, you could also try longer lines to slow it down...

It's a different kind of pumping Peter. As the swell hits. Bring both legs up at the same time. Absorb the swell with your legs. Then push legs down on the downslope of swell. Upper body sorta stays level. Legs moving up and down with foil and swell.

Thus pumping up n down

... When you change AOA on both wings you will change the fuselage "flow" direction so it might have a tad less drag (or more, depending on the specific design) at low speeds yes. And reverse - more (fuselage) drag at higher speeds ... 8) PF Peter is right. Changing the front wing aoa and matching ...

For a start get the long mast on asap. If the mast height is greater than the chop/swell. Just slice straight through it without pumping. You pump technique sounds fine. its the same as pump a on a skateboard through some rollers, or a bmx at a bmx track or a snowboard on moguls. The faster the bett...

Just keep flying it and learn how to fly fast kites. They are mucho fun when you can handle the jandle!

Then yourl get back on your big kite and yourl go what is this slow peice if shit!
