Re: 4 meters waves yesterday at tarifa!

Waste of a nice wave imho, If kiter wants to do speed runs kinda waste of a wave on one of the days of the year??¿¿ Do speed runs in a lagoon not out running a wave hahaha! Surfer always has right of way! Have you ever done a cross off speed run on a steep walling long face? I'm guessing not. Its f...

Re: 4 meters waves yesterday at tarifa!

The surfer always has right of way, because they paddle in. Period. In saying that the kiter went around him and let him have the wave so maybe all good. That doesn't sound right or make a lot of sense. The surfer could have easily been cleaned up quite badly by the missile with the kite when he dr...

Low rider or high flyer?

So how do you foil. Do you foil low to the surface or as high as you dare.

I'm getting more fun out of low riding. I think mainly because of my mast height, chop on sell environment. I find low I can crank in speed/carves and not vent a wing.

Re: Power.

I originally was riding small kites, but now I ride the same size as others on twintip. .. Absolutely. As you progress in foiling you can learn to enjoy more power. This allows you to go faster, jump higher, point upwind better, point downwind farther, do tacks and jibes easier and generally rip pa...

OCD is the answer!

On a side note it's not 2000 tricks but multiple variations of the same 20ish tricks!

Power.

So. I've done the peter Frank stupid small kite hydrofoiling for a while. Now I hunger for speed and power.

What's the problem? Bar warn out after 2 years hard use? Seems legit.

PS my 2012 ozone bar foam is still good.

Re: How often do you swim in @ <10knots ?

It's not about skilled = never swim. more like who wants to push their limits. Some days I don't feel so like swimming so only launch if it's good other days I don't care how low it is or how bad the lulls I'm going for it. so not really about skills but how much you feel like testing yourself. som...

Re: Serious Big Air

Well I have never tangled with anyone kitesurfing! come to Brazil and ride on a small lagoon :naughty: I have as much desire to ride your crowded lagoon as you have riding one of my 40 knot 5m swell storms. In fact if all I had was a shitty small crowded lagoon id flag kiting and go biking instead.
