Re: What's the worst thing about kite surfing?

Both too many and too few people at the spot. too many? Way too often here in the Netherlands. Too few? Very rare Offshore wind and others who go out Very annoying, especially in winter & early spring as they don't appreciate how much risk they take Bad forecasts & getting skunked Awful. Only slight...

The Prolimit Session bag would be a lot more useful. Who wants to put their laptop in the same bag as their kite :nono:

Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

Somewhere on the German Oase forum, a user posted similar differences between the results with Woo and AW3/Sessions: http://forum.oase.com/showthread.php?p=1322953 This is a quick Google Translate of the experience At the beginning of December, I tested the Apple Watch Series 3 combination with the ...

Re: Foot straps and foot injuries

Broke one of the metatarsal bones in my foot 3.5 years ago when I couldn't get my foot out of a strap while getting caught by the washing machine. It was the outer one so that hurt a little more than one of the middle ones I think. Had a cast for a couple of weeks and the bone healed quickly. Becaus...

Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

Wasn't me but a friend. He's had a Woo for over 1.5 years now and reliably hits 10m+. I've seen those jumps repeatedly and the Woo is pretty accurate for that. His impression was that his Woo score that day (8.2) felt more accurate than the AW/Sessions score (5.6). He's an expert at Woosting ;) so t...

Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

Mate used both AW/sessions app and a Woo 1.0 in a session. 2.6m difference between the 2, Woo seeming more accurate.

Congrats to both and excellent decision by Core&Woo to solve the issue. That's how companies show they care about their customers imho!

Re: 20 meter jump and need help needed by the community!!!

Have voted for him, indeed a massive jump from a talented dude!

Maybe change the topic title to 'Help a 15-year old win a trip to KOTA South-Africa' or something like that to make your request more clear?

Re: Pivot Unbaised Review. Good Kite For Surf?

I agree with both :D I've ridden the Pivots in 10m 2015 and 5-7 2016 models. I wouldn't rate the 10 very highly for waveriding, not as responsive as I'd like, and drift was not great. The 5&7 were better but also lacked a little in responsiveness when lines were a little slack. I thought the 10 too ...

Re: Vader performance but tougher?

Outside of custom you may find it hard to replace the Vader with something that's built thougher but has similar performance. Do you have the kite construction version? I had the Vanguard in kite construction, and it was though as nails. A VW Golf (early generation) once drove over the front section...
