Info on MHL NJS CF5 race board?

Hi
Does anyone have any feed back on how it rides? I know it is a couple of years old now but will keep up with the newer boards? This will be my first race board so I'm not trying to be super competitive, I just want something fast and user-friendly. Cheers

Re: Beginners do not buy used gear ; Read This first :

when i decided to start kitesurfing I was living in Canada in the winter. I spent about 6 months researching everything I could about launching/self launching, self rescues, water starts and anything else I could find. I bought all new gear and snow kited on a frozen lake a few times. about 6-7 year...

Re: A Fighter Pilots Guide to Safe Kiting

How do you know if a pilot is at your party?

He will tell you.

Re: Replacing lines

I've had lines replaced on my naish bars by Perrin at kiteworks, he has 300kg line and makes them up to length and does the sleeves for a good price. Ive only had it done a little while ago so I can't comment on their longevity but they look the biz.

Thats a good call about the weight

My new options are nobile NHP or underground crypt. Its a tough decision but still a good problem to have :D

Slingshot Lunacy 2008 129CM Still a good board today?

How does this board compare to modern boards? I mostly ride hooked in, bosting in strong winds.
I can get one of these brand new quite cheaply and my current board is broken in half after a botched kiteloop back roll attempt so time for something new i think.

Cheers

Re: Applying insets+straps to surf board

I'm not sure what you mean by Chinese SS but austenitic grades of SS have very low magnetic permeabilities and hence show almost no response to a magnet. They also have some of the best strength and corrosion resistance properties.

Anterior Compartment Syndrome

Has anyone had any trouble with this while kiting??

The muscle in the front of my shins become very sore and weak while I am riding but by the time I have packed up and driving home the pain is gone.

Its so frustrating because I can only kite for about 15mins at a time.

Re: Helix vs Bandit

I think im heading towards the helix at the moment. I have an 8m helix already and i like it.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how much wind i would need to get going on a 10.5m helix compared to a 12?

Helix vs Bandit

Hi Im looking to replace my 2008 OR Rise 12m, I normally use this kite for 14-20knts, How would the low end of a 2010 naish helix 10.5 or a 2010 Bandit III compare?? It would be great to get onto a smaller kite but i dont want to sacrifice too much of the low end. I am 65 kg and i ride a 132x 40 twi...
