brand new (used ~3x) 6m seems to be a leading edge material issue and not bladder issues like the original post. looks like there's "streaks" in the fabric along where it has failed... i noticed this at the end of my session, the bladder was intact and buldging.... anyone have any luck w/ duotone on...

Symmetric Wing

Has anyone thought of developing a symmetric wing? It seems like when jibbing the wing can get stuck.... Or maybe you're just running into it... Which made me think of jibbing a windsurfer What if the inflatable wing was symmetric... Sort of like a windsurfing sail (at least in one dimension)... So ...

Had a weird foil failure yesterday... kiting on small lake and around middle of area we kite (,,,lake level more full than usual).. got knocked of the board... and this is what the foil looks like now....??? there doesn't seem to be any major evidence along the leading edge... there is a scratch on ...

I agree with OzBungy about the sand issue. If you're in an area with lots of soft sand or silt, it will work it's way into the toes and is incredibly annoying and often painful. I stopped wearing them to kite, and then ended up tossing them out after they started to wear out. I give them a thumbs d...

using parts from fireball... w/ ozone mini leash

good:
- compact
- two step to complete release
- ability to unwind lines manually
- minimal lever arm

bad:
- not the easiest to connect

ugly:
- the "stitch plate" is pinching the center line
