Spleene Zone 5,6 from 2017

Earlier this year I purchased the Spleene Zone 5,6 wave board, which is a directional but constructed like a TT board. This board has of course very little volume and is maybe not the first choice for light wind, but when powered nicely with kites from 12 m and less it really allows some nice rippin...

Re: Just not feeling the strapped surfboard thing - advice..

Is the Sports Gear Solutions rotating strap available for sale anywhere online? Their website looks to be down and everything I can find about it is from 2010. The previous link of sportsgearsolutions on google sites works fine with windows explorer. Another access is our facebook page https://www....

Re: Just not feeling the strapped surfboard thing - advice..

Hurra for STRAPPED riding - so powerful and you can get so much fun during waveriding and jumps even in bad gusty conditions. But you might want to get yourself a "rotating strap" for the front foot. - you achieve a tight fit (so no loose straps) and still can adjust the angle. - after some training...

Once you have had a few decent sessions with the rotating strap, it would be nice to hear about your experience with it. :) Thanks, have fun.

We also get user comments on our Facebook page: "Michael: I rode for 7 hours straight with the new rotating foot pads for twin tips on 06/01 No knee pain, no Advil, no down time, you won't be disappointed. Straightening your back foot a few degrees makes a huge difference." http://www.facebook.com/s...

Re: Rotating footstrap for directionals

We offer the Plug & Turn version at a reduced price for a limited time period, so more people will try it out.
Give it several sessions and enjoy the surprising comfortable strap angle.

See http://www.sportsgear-solutions.com and go to our online shop.

Re: Rotating footstrap for directionals

Sorry Fred, I do not agree on the described risk. If you keep the stopper features as delivered, then it stops after 55 degrees turning and in addition your foot will also twist within the strap approx. 20-30 degrees. So falling forward you can point your toes towards the tail of your board and then...

Re: Rotating footstrap for directionals

Nice to get some more reviews out. We got a bunch of nice mails from customers, but there are many that just don't use the forums. Kitesurf UK and Kiteworld Mag published a nice review too. About the pads: some of the heelpads did have less adhesion than usual (glue slipping the pads bottom), but it...

Strap angle - boost your TT for wave kiting!

Besides board shape and size the flexibility in stance on TT boards has a major impact on your riding. You need movement to distribute your weight for each jump, bottom turn and cut back. 2 main possibilities for movement: your ankles and knees twist or your "wide strap" allows the feet to twist and...
