RPM vs Switchblade - Unhooked? Waves? Boosting?

Hello again, Time to get some new kites and I am not sure what to get. My time on the water is split evenly between riding unhooked, strapless wave riding and hooked in boosting. I would only be looking at 2013 or 2014 models. I need a 9 and a 7 kite that can do a bit of everything. I have heard the...

Kitesurfing near Bangkok - Hua Hin or Pranburi?

Hi there,

Im in Bangkok at the moment, and the appears to be some NE wind forecast for Friday and Saturday in Hua Hin and Pranburi. I have never been to either place.

Im looking for flat water if possible and better wind. Which spot is better?

Thanks!

Switchblade Vs C kite

I have never ridden a C kite, except for about a minute on an Ozone C4. So I ride Switchblades and try to do as much unhooked freestyle as I can. I can land the occasional backmobe, but other than that it is front to blinds, railey to blind, flat 3...stuff like that. I would say that I spend as much...

Kitesurfing in Thailand?

So I will be spending a few months in Thailand this winter, probably from October/November until February/March. I will be based in Bangkok, but will have the chance to move around all over the country. Any good kiting spots near Bangkok? Whats the wind like at this time of year? What are the spots ...

North Vegas 14m

Hi there Summer is coming around and I just saw a great deal on a 2011 14m Vegas. What do you reckon the low end would be on that bad boy? What would relaunch be like? Its got to be one of the best options for light wind un-hooking right? But I drop the kite a lot and need to be able to get it flyin...

Re: What is the real low end of the 2012 RPM 12m?

13 knots isnt too bad...

What about a 14m RPM? What is it like? Too slow? What kind of wind range are we talking?

I ride mostly unhooked, so I dont think that I will go with the Rally.

What is the real low end of the 2012 RPM 12m?

I am looking at buying myself a 12m RPM 2012, but having read all about the fact that there is very little difference between the 10 and the 12, I am a little nervous about the real low end of the 12. So, what would you say is there real wind range of the 12? Im more interested in the low end ie. ho...

Best boards for boots? - Cab Custom vs Best Profanity

So im thinking of buying a board to ride with boots and I can get either a best profanity 142 2011 or a Cabrinha custom 140 2012 at good price. I have tried both boards but only for a couple of minutes...not long enough to make up my mind, but I liked them both. I will be using the boards for kiting...
