Turks and Caicos: July Wind Stats - Question...

Hey all, I'm getting ready to book a (non-kiting-wife-friendly) week in July and am thinking about Turks and Caicos. I was last there in a December week and got to ride everyday, though it was on a 14m. My understanding was that July was actually the best month but now I'm hearing some conflicting o...

Re: North Dice 2014 10m issue

Dan is the most active brand representative on this forum, responds to questions directly and contributes to conversation in detail. Most kiters seem like pretty good ppl at the beach, the internet and the anonymity of the keyboard sure seem to bring out the worst in some.

Re: North WAM 2014 5.8" or 5.10"?

I would say at your height, the 5' 10" would be a better option.

Re: North WAM 2014 5.8" or 5.10"?

How tall are you? I spend most of my time riding in similiar sounding conditions and I've had a 5' 10" WAM the last couple of seasons.... Is very nice. I'm about 5' 9", weigh about 175 pounds.

Re: Has anyone changed the rear quad fins on a Nugget?

Yup - have played with a few different fin sets, part of the fun for me. Check out the Future Fins website and look at fin sets that match the stock sets in shapes and sizes, then you can tweak from there based on product description and what you're after.

Thanks for posting Blu. Yeah, I think I'm going to bring the 15m, just in case. Hope you have a great time, good winds to you.

Re: St. Martin waves

Any recommendations for the best way to get to Tintamarre and back? How about good downwinders? SXM: Feb 20 - 27. Any other wave types there the same week?

Thanks - Stinky

Re: North Dice impressions

Lots of sessions in on a 10m Dice now and I love it. Mostly a surfboard guy, so.... Amazing drift, great down the line, completely intuitive fly and follow, bare bones bridle, and no 5th line clearly, but a surprisingly good direct, connected feel, lightning fast like a c-kite but plenty of grunt th...

Re: North Rebel 2014

I don't believe I've ever heard anyone say the Rebel has weak bottom end... I think it's a great kite for just about anything - other than (hardcore) freestyle or unhooked wakestyle riding.
