Re: Flysurfer Soul

Anyone mess with this tiny secret profile adjusters yet. I’m kinda curious on them. Go figure there’s a cyclone hitting today in Northern Africa and I’m without my kite. Kinda wondering what kind of effect I’ll get out of my 15m if I play with them a little. Yes. Not in Soul but in 2013 Speed 4 del...

Re: Atlanta kiting

I started in Augusta and kited Lanier once. Now I live in TX.

I would strongly recommend learning to get up wind before riding Georgia lakes.

The fingers in the shoreline turn a walk of shame from yards into miles.

Re: Flysurfer Soul

How is the hyperlink a good first foil? You accidentally tomahawk it and blow it up and you are fucked. With Flysurfer warranty, they’ll fix it for free. I sure wouldn’t want to fly my kite afraid all the time that I might damage it. Seems like we are reaching here. Not really hearing reports of ex...

Re: Ozone and Flysurfer fanboys, tell me why...

Flysurfer deserves credit for taking risks like Triple Depower, Lotus Cloth and single skin Peak. Very cool brand IMO. But we have an Ozone dealer. Ozone tubes and foils fly on our beaches. Shop and friend demos are building their brand. By the time I get to see a FS kite in person they have moved o...

Re: Line strength for hydrofoiling ?

FWIW I measured the diameter of my Q-Power line bar lines today. Q-Powerline Pro 600 lb = 1.5 mm Q Powerline 300 lb = 1.3 mm This 1mm SK-99 Premium Ropes Alpha Ropes line is looking nice to me. Thanks for the links. I ordered enough for a 20m line set for an old bar that needs refurb. http://www.pre...

Re: Stem Cell Treatment for Shoulder?

global bankers Hey! LetsFlyAKite According to the FDA, there are currently only a limited number of stem cell therapies approved by the agency Looks like global bankers are willing to sell stem cells too! LOL it was a complete waste of $6000 Not a bad outcome considering all possibilities. Do you b...

Beware fishing lines and carry a knife.

Yesterday I was sailing around the pier. Naturally I don't want to get in fishing lines and don't want a fishing kiteboarding clash for access. I was at least 1000 feet from the end of the pier and my hydrofoil caught long fishing lines. Had no idea they could go so far out. When trying to untangle ...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

just don't ask to a Lamborghini customer 100 more euros for the car mats... I always figured it was more like 1000 eur and would come with a custom color embroidered logo, but Ive never bought a Lambo. I like the simple stuff sac aesthetic for a kite. Somebody who wants a fancier bag can buy one mu...

Re: Hyperlink size recommedation

Today I was out with Levitaz Cruizer strapless and HL 9 fooling around in a mild windswell. When I went out it was 15 knots. This would be 7 or maybe 5 meter HL weather for me but I though it would be nice to try some more power. The wind picked up to 18g20 according to the iKite sensor. As it did t...
