Looking for advice…Just started using a Cab Trimlite bar (2021) and after a few sessions I noticed that the landing/safety line looks damaged (thin) near the cleat (see photo)
Does anyone know if it’s meant to be like this?
Hi Toby, Kremasti is quite a few miles upwind of the fires, so unaffected apart from power cuts. As always, the Greeks are amazing- so helpful and upbeat despite the terribly destructive fire.
Just spent a week at Kremasti- wind was light (less than 15mph) for 4 days out of 7. As other posts have said, the windguru forecast is pretty accurate for this spot. When windguru says no wind or light wind, that’s what will happen. The thermal wind does add a few knots but nothing dramatic.
After some advice…Off to Rhodes the week after next, staying near Kremasti. Planning on taking a 9m and 12m, but not sure whether I need to squeeze in the 7m? I’m 73kg, riding 134tt. I know it’s crystal ball stuff, but does anyone know if 30+kts 7m weather is common there mid July? Thanks!
Sorry, an old thread...I was just wondering how you have been getting on with the 7m obsession? I've had a few sessions on mine and am finding that it is super jumpy even in conditions that aren't too gusty. I took it out in 35kts, it didn't really feel overpowered but it was terribly unstable.
