Re: Maui vs Mauritus ? wind and Waves

Mauritius is an excellent alternative: better access to a wider range of wave options (little reef, Manawa, One Eye), safer launch options (than at Lanes for example) and more reliable trade winds, much lower prices for accommodation, transport and entertainment than in Maui or Brazil for that matte...

Re: Vacation to Peru

We kited in Los Organos, near Mancora in December. Wind was consistently 15kn in afternoons. Excellent uncrowded surf wave, often offshore in am. Schools from Mancora mostly teach in Organos and Cabo Blancito. By January winds started to drop off. Short video from our stay: http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Re: searching for spots in peru-equador-colombia

We made the following video from our stay in Los Organos, near Mancora.
Great combination of clean morning surf and afternoon kitesurfing (15-20kn daily).
Irie!

Lobitos also looks great, although slightly off-shore and more remote.

Re: Info on Barra grande Piau

November is the windiest month in BG, expect 0 kn at sunrise, 15 kn by midday (as it shifts more side-on), 20-30+kn by evening. 5-7 m conditions mostly, although at mid-day 8 m works. not ideal for unhooked freestyle progression perhaps, but definitely epic spot and very rustic village. key is timin...

Re: Sri Lanka / Heads Up June/July

Just returned from Kite Kuda Camp - excellent work Leo and Mishi! Spot is fabulous with perfectly flat lagoon, open freeride in the Ocean, huge downwinder options and great conditions for all levels. Camp is well run, clean, safe and located directly on the beach. Good luck, mates and hope to see yo...
