Re: What's Up With Naish?

Kubus Sport aquired Naish in January 2023. They were the main distributor for Naish in Europe if I remember correctly. They also own ProLimit and I believe several other brands. It seems that they did a 'cleanup' and focused on the main selling products. Since they seems like a well established com...

Re: What's Up With Naish?

The Phoenix is discontinued they only made it for 1 year. I got a 12M at 70% off I like it the only bad thing is it's slow but the boosting and hang time are insane. Only 3 models now several versions of the Pivot, the Boxer and the Triad. what? Thanks. Yeah, that's not a good sign when a company d...

Re: What's Up With Naish?

Today I went on the Naish site to figure out what sizes the Dash was because I'm interested in a new hybrid kite for unhooking turns out it was discontinued a couple of years ago. Then I saw the Dash wave kite was discontinued last year. However they do have a new big air kite, the Naish Phoenix. I ...

136cm 100kg 11-15 knots.

No. A 45 euro board isn't that cheap when you end up having to immediately resell it.

Re: Board flips (Bad handle?)

yeah that's close but it's also tiny. I sometimes miss the middle of the board grab the board closer to the straps, especially when I kick the board off instead of grabbing it. I guess you could buy 3 of them (they are about 1/3rd the size I want) but that's still only $18 which isn't bad.

Re: Board flips (Bad handle?)

I've used this one for 3 years, hasn't worn out yet. I made it from insulation and tubing. I find the hard ones too slippery when your hand gets wet so you have to pinch really hard. The one I have you barely have to touch it, and it sticks in your hand. I would not mind a professional company makin...

Re: Board flips (Bad handle?)

the crab rails are meant for skateboards or snowboards, not twintips. Pretty hard to catch. Big rails are easy to catch. I think once you do a boast and get the board off the board flip should be the easiest thing in the world. Why waste a good jump by making your grab rail so hard to catch, just ma...

Re: Board flips (Bad handle?)

Exactly like edt's, except shorter - to whatever length the biggest cheap flipflop you can find is. Mine is only about 32-33cm long, but long enough. The harder/denser you can find, the better. Cost me about $4 to 4 different boards. More if I wanted some shorter ones. the only reason you need them...

Re: Board flips (Bad handle?)

spins you do by grabbing the fin by the nose or tail. It's not the same as the handle spin, but some things are easier something are harder or impossible. Personally I don't like doing handle spins but if you do them you need a handle and a long one is best of course. Less likely to smash your finge...
