Re: Toes scratched open by front footstrap

Hi Guys, Thanks for all your replys. This weekend conditions were epic in the Netherlands, unreal waves! I adjusted the front strap, making it one screwhole less wide and at the front side I narrowed it to the second mounting hole. Now my toes are not rubbing to the inner webbing any more. I took my...

Re: Toes scratched open by front footstrap

Obvious nothing wrong with my stance since no critics are posted :D Hmmm the Cabrinha's haven't been pointed out to me, sound interesting... I've narrowed my options to: - DaKine Vario (http://www.dakine.com/kite/footstrapsde ... footstrap/) - Cabrinha Surf Strap (http://www.cabrinhakites.com/surf-s...

Re: Toes scratched open by front footstrap

Hi, thanks for the already added reply´s! Here in the netherlands we have a choppy sea and short waves, strapless will ask a lot of my human suspension 8). As a former windsurfer I have a agressive riding style, with a occasional jump, for which I like my straps. The straps come off in nice conditio...

Toes scratched open by front footstrap

Hi there, Everytime I ride my surfboard my toes are scratched open by the front footstrap. I don´t know if this is due to my riding style or the quality of the strap, maybe you can tell me. I ride a Best thruster 6`0 with factory straps. My toes are scratched by the strap where it hasn´t got any neo...

Re: best wave riding set up

Hi Mart, Thanks for the update. I ride in the Netherlands where the sea is quite choppy most of the time, so for me strapped riding mostly means more fun during the session! Ever since I started (wind)surfing I'm a fan of DaKine. Still using my first kite harness!! I will try to get my hands on a pa...

Re: best wave riding set up

Hi Kangaroo,

I ride the Best Thruster 6'0 2009 but hate the straps.
Your pictures tell me you have replaced the default Spacekraft straps.
Which straps do you use and why these? 8)

Thanks!

Bandit3 pivoting, even after pulling QR!

Yesterday we had heavy weather in the Netherlands, High gusts and short, high waves. A friend of mine doesn't own a 7m kite so he took mine for a short session. After being washed the kite started pivoting on the water pulling him fast toward the shore. After pulling his QR the kite kept pivoting an...
