Re: Launching and landing alone on snow.

its the same as if you were self launching on the beach with out a fixed anchor.... even easier on snow actually... If you dont know how to do it you really should learn... plenty of videos out there. One really cant consider themselves a self sufficient kiter if they cant launch and land by themsel...

Re: Naish Alaia

Glad someone actually got one of these and tried it. Was thinking about grabbing one of these just for shits and giggles... cant beat the price...

If you have any more shots of the board or even better of it in use that would be awesome.

Think you could paddle surf it as well? like a standard alaia?

Re: Width on strapless kitewaveboard

I have the 2011 5'8 Fish from Naish and I love the board. I have ridden it mostly strapped since I got it back in march. I have used the board in everything from 8ish knot winds barely able to ride on my 11 all the way up to 35-40+ knot winds lit on my 7m. It is such a fun and versatile board. I rec...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

+1 for big bags...

Makes packing up so much easier and quicker, and im sure its better for your kites. Its also great if you have to do any walking to get to a spot and might not know what the wind will be like. Being able to put 2 kites in a bag is a huge plus to me.

Re: Kites - Method - Felix Pivec Video!!! switchkites

x2 what size was the Method in the video... and DAMN that kite looks really fun to fly. Definitely on my list when it comes to upgrading my quiver... Just wish you guys had decided to go with big bags, makes packing so much easier when it doesnt have to be perfect... also nice to be able to put 2 ki...

Re: Only 2 Kiters

As long as your both confident kiters it is actually very easy. Helps alot if the wind is good too because you need to focus less on your own kite. Basicly get both kites set up and ready to go, make sure both riders are all set as well. The less time wasted the better b/c you have two kites very cl...

Re: Which surf board (for kiting)?

You are little heaver then I am at around 175lbs? I am about 165lbs... so not much but I can ride my 5'8" fish in about 10-12mph at the bare minimum on my 11m. Given the slight extra size of the kite and the board if you were to go with one of the bigger ones I would say somewhere in the 10 knot ran...

Re: Blade Trigger 2011 - 14M - Little help

Im pretty sure the Blade QR is the same as the Epic... I have had no issues with my Epic QR even when lit on my 14 or riding my 7 in 35+ winds... if anything it might almost be a bit tough to active the release, especially if it doesnt get used often and have time to break in
