I think surf ski is jet ski.

There was a kiter killed in Florida after a shark attack around 2010. So 3 total fatal kiter attacks.

It's the 5th Kitesurfer attacked there since 2011 according to this: http://www.sharkattackdata.com/place/new_caledonia

Another +1 on Loki's summary. I'm pretty much in that same demographic. When I started kiting around 2007 I got 3 new kites (ozone) with bars etc for around 1,700 GBP. Boards were around 300-400. I haven't bought a new kite for a few years now. Kites haven't developed that much since 2009 so selling...

I'm off to France on holidays for 3 weeks in mid July, staying near Les Sables. Anyone recommend good kiting spots around this area? Was at St jean de Monts a few years back and they had a great beach close by that was dedicated to kiting. Hoping the rules haven't changed since then 8) Any advice ve...

Also, the moment I mentioned kitesurfing to one German ambassador, he rolled his eyes and volunteered the classified info that injured kitesurfers without international insurance policies are his biggest headache.!
