SS Rev twisted bladder

06-08 model kite.

Had to reglue the valves. Had the entire leading edge bladder out. Have had it back in numerous times.

Problem is when the kite is pumped up; the bladder starts to rotate and sucks in the valves second to last on the outboard.

What is the technique to get it to not roll?

Re: paulownia wood

Maybe it’s been done before but I thought it was interesting to see short pieces turned on end to make up a sheet vs’s strips:

Re: Short video of 2018 Rebel in light wind

It really was blowing 1-4mph. I can give you the persons phone number that was flying it. The Wind meter on his vehicle was also his.

Short video of 2018 Rebel in light wind

Impromptu video(portrait mode) just showing it in flight. Static flying a 10m in 1-4mph Wind and no higher then a 5-6mph “gust” measured on a ground wind meter at the location. Seems like not too long ago an average size kite would struggle to fly in that light of wind? http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Re: What type of information and how you prefer to see it when you look for the forecast

I like the look and lay out of the wind forecast on this site for a quick glance and get a good “feel” for the wind and I also look at the temp and wind direction: http://www.usairnet.com/cgi-bin/launch/code.cgi?Submit=Go&sta=KPWA&state=OK I like this site to really examine all that is listed on the...

Re: Dead or dying kiteboarding companies

Truth of the matter is one can jump on Alibaba order up some samples of previous model kites; find one you like and have a batch made. Now you need branding and marketing and the need to sell off 50-500 kites. Welcome to the club of 40 other kite companies. Look how hard it is for Demetri to move ki...

Re: Dead or dying kiteboarding companies

A tough market indeed. Any startup is going up against the established brands. Anyone getting ready to drop $1,000 on a kite wants something they know is good and has some resale. Hence the big 4 established brands. Cabrinha, Naish, Slingshot, North. That’s what your up against unless you can offer ...
