Re: Aruba - end of May

There is a beach bar "Tortuga Beach Bar" at Boca Grandi..it is owned/operated by Pro Kite School Aruba but open to all. Cold Beer and alcohol as well as burgers and chicken. San Nicolas is the closest town...5 minutes away. I personally wouldn't go to San Nicolas alone at night. If there are other k...

Re: Aruba - end of May

There is rarely a time when you cannot kitesurf at Aruba. May thru October Is very good. Best conditions are on the windward side of the island at Boca Grandi. It's not a huge bay with anything over 12 kiters and it's a bit crowded. If you're kitesurfing, you can get outside the reef and there are n...

Twin Tip Shipping

I have a few twin tips I'd like to sell however I've never shipped before.
Any advise on how to pack...needing good protection yet wanting to keep shipping costs low.
Also...any idea what shipping costs could be (USPS) within Continental US.
I'm in Texas so distance to either Coast is similar.

Re: Aruba January

Does your wife kite...if so, stay at Kite-Inn.com because other than kiting...there's really nothing to do on this side of the island. Kite-Inn... $80/night (cold a/c , hot shower, comfortable bed, and very clean). You can kite your tails off...it's 5mins from Boca Grandi. Arnold who owns Kite-Inn a...

Re: Aruba January

Boca Grandi has very good swells outside the reef. Pechi has opened a Beach Bar and Grill there. Twin tippin in the Boca is great too. Get over 9 kiters and it's a tad crowded but time your sessions between the noobs and you'll have a ball. 96% chance of great wind. Can't beat it for a kite-trip.

Re: Gopro line mounts. Camrig vs beastmount

If you happen to be traveling to Turks and Caicos in the near future,
there's a "kite-shop" called Blue in Salt Mill Plaza selling Camrig mounts for $10.00

Re: Is anyone else buying carbon credits to offset CO2 from travel?

You do realize that plane is going whether you're on it or not...

...and with you being on it actually makes it less of a carbon footprint.
(carbon divided by the number of passengers on the plane)

Re: Boosting only one way

Keep practicing your weak side...in time you'll come up with a technique that'll prolly have your weak side boosting higher than your strong side.
