Re: The Flite A-Series: The New Boss of Big Air

As a more heavy (115kg) person I am a bit disappointed they are not making a 14,5m five strut kite.
But I understand, I am a minority... 😞

Re: Presenting the 2017 Cabrinha Collection

I am curious about the new finbox on their surfboards. I can see that it is no longer future fins?
Which kind of fins fit to them?

Re: airush protoy 2012... bit slow ?

I have not sailed these boards myself. But lets see if we can get the discussion started... But I think it sounds like the protoy has more rocker. this will give it many good properties, but speed, upwind and low end will suffer. Accept these things, be a little more powered and you will find all th...

Re: 2011 Hifi vs Nirvana

I have owned a set of Hifi 2009 (not comp) and kite now with Hifi 2011. The 2011 are not quite as stable as the 2009 hanging over your head. When sailing it is rock stable. It feel to have the same amount of grunt. It has better lowend though while it flies quite a bit faster. I like these 2011 a lo...

I am all with SupaEZ. I think this kite is fine LW kite for small people like 80kg and below but where is the lightwind kite for bigger people?

Why only one size?

Re: Any Snowkite Spots in Denmark ??

But the weather is fine for surfing in water. Ask in kitesurferen.dk or kitemekka.dk if you want to join somebody.
The spotmap in kitemekka is very developed, if you need to find spots. There are also a few snow kite spots.

Re: need help

If you let the kite fly to the edge of the window it will looses power. There are two ways of preventing that: 1. Travel so fast that the kite do not reach the edge of window, while you keep up with it. (pulling in the bar can reduce kite flyspeed, but only to a certain point). 2. Sine the kite, mak...

Re: LF Havoc questions

Get a more experienced kiter help you at the beach. Just to rule out trim issues and bad technique. Light wind sailing is an art. Apart from that: A big kite in low wind will fly slower than a smaller kite in stronger wind. To plane efficiently on a kiteboard you need a certain speed. To get these t...

Re: which freeride board for soft landings / weak knees?

Liquid force DLX is also a possibility.
Loose an fun. Likes power.
It has a bottom shape that breaks the water on landing, to make them softer. It also have some rocker making it go more soft in chop.
