Re: Goofy versus regular surf riding

Well, if a left is a better wave, then it might be someone riding switch.

Re: 2018 Naish Slash

No gap in my quiver. Going to replace my 2016 11 m Pivot with a 10 m Slash. Mainly because with a foil I can go even smaller with my biggest kite and also get a better kite for the lightwind wave days. As you mentioned Slash seems to be better suited to foiling than the Pivot as it drifts better. A...

Re: 2018 Naish Slash

Thanks for the detailed feedback. The differences are clearly bigger than I was expecting. Naish are really moderate about their description of the improvements from year to year. Might even wait a year until the 2019 are on sale. If you have a gap in your quiver, then I would just get this year's,...

Re: 2018 Naish Slash

Hey yeah well...mostly for the 7. I did not ride it side by side, but my take is as follows. LE and struts are significantly thinner. I mean really significantly. The 7 recommended PSI you have to lean into. It gives a better feel to the kite in some really great ways. Super easy to turn, drifts lik...

Re: alcohol and kitesurfing

NoP problems - tautologies - you are welcome to comment obviously! Thanks! :-) As I say "conspiracy" bit was a bit of a wind up :-) In other words - a joke (as a foreigner - not sure - wind-up may be Scottish slang only?) :-) Not to offend anyone :-) And you obviously right the brain cells to regen...

Re: alcohol and kitesurfing

This contains basically the two worst types of propositions I know. but kept a secret from public. Tinfoil hat time. This is simply not true. Conspiracies do not exist at this level....it's literally impossible. Also, reference your claims. If you have articles post a link. they say ...and then top ...

Re: Near fatality at Hermanus today December 12 2018

Let me disagree. Who knows if the rider in Hermanus would not have passed out if he was wearing helmet and vest... Let me just preempt all the nonsensical arguments about how helmets makes it MORE dangerous. I agree with you Pepp. I think the biggest problem with kiteboarding injuries is that no on...
