Re: Best bankrupt?

Gen 1 Waroo was a game changer for me. First time I ever really loved the sport. I had dicked around with foils for a bit. Easy to fly, but no direct feel, delayed response. Never quite knew where it was or what it was doing in the sky. Overflew them once or twice on a hard across-the-window tack a...

Re: Best bankrupt?

I'll cherish my memory of landing "Stevos's hellfish" and it exploding in my hands. Those were the days ! And Shogren emulating Ford... comes in every color as long as its silver. They had something right in principle, but instead of proper testing rushed it to market. Now look at Naish pushing the...

Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

The pulle...

Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

What pulley is this kite using? I remember Cab. had some issues with some ronstan pulleys that cut the bridle a looong time ago. I think issues was that the bridle would get stuck between the wheel and the pulley body. I would see if there is a sharp edge on the pulley or if the wheel on the pulley ...

Re: Naish Pivot vs Fone Bandit

Hi Everyone I am currently flying a 2016 Bandit 9m. I weight 75kg and use the 9m mostly in Blouberg in winds ranging from 16 - 25 knots. I mostly like boosting and started learning to loop a few months back. I am considering buying either a 2018 Bandit or a 2018 Pivot, and I'm looking to buy a 10m....

Re: Best bankrupt?

This thread makes me sad. It's been a joy following Best. Last time I counted I think I'd bought about 16-20 best kites before I moved on. It's been a trip of ups and downs from early on, and regardless of what you think of best today they've been a big part of the industry of kiteboarding. The earl...

Re: Triple & quad ripstop

Don't wish to get into an argument, call 20 years of sailmaking "intuition" if you please, just giving my point of view: 1 Specifically the quality of the Dacron. 2 Weight does matter' 3 Physics also apply to kitesurfing. 4 Increasing recommended air pressure is good, but it is not the thread, even...
