Re: Average Joe Kite Review- Light wind kites

That was a great review. Is there any chance you can get ahold of a Fat Lady to test when you get the good Infinity V3? That would really round out the high AR kites before you move to the low ARs. Plus, it would be a very cool "battle of the Momi kites". :naughty: Oh yea, and the Zephyr. (t...

Re: 2013 Blade Fat Lady

Almost certain that your kite is underinflated . 2012 should be at 8 psi and 2013 at 10psi. That's pretty darn firm by feel. also really love the 1st fat lady gen the thing while overpowered is that the LE distorce and flaps a bit, like a seagull... not sure if it is as it is due to the thinner LE+3...

Re: 2013 Blade Fat Lady

The 2013 Fat Lady has a much improved upper wind range than the 2012 in most people's experience. The kite holds it shape better, and has less bar pressure.

I am eager to see what the 3rd generation Fat Lady is going to be like when it becomes available this coming spring.

Re: The new Uni Control Bar by Blade

Please see this short video to help your bar flag out with less tension on the lines. In moderate winds or stronger, the kite should flag out on the stock bar. This modification will allow the kite to flag out in light winds and takes about 5 minutes to complete. Thanks http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

It should work just fine, unless it is a first generation switchblade that requires pulleys on the bar. What year is your switchblade?

Edit: solved the problem

PM sent with instructions on how to get it working for you. Let me know if everything is smooth now.

Thanks

Re: 2013 Blade Fat Lady

No disrespect taken. I am only using the tools that were available which was the Mission Bay sensor, which I posted on the start of the video. Certainly the sensor can only pick up the wind that is hitting it, and if it was stronger where I was, that's a possibility. What's more telling than the sen...

Re: The new Uni Control Bar by Blade

Ok I'd like to get one of these and try it out- where can you get one online? You can go to www.bladekitesUSA.com and click on the DEALER link to see a list of dealers in the USA. That being said, I am pretty sure the initial batch is sold out everywhere, and that the next batch is due at the end o...
