A number of riders (6) at my local beach switched to Ozone Edge v9's after trying mine... Most bought quivers of 3 kites... Some 4... All of us had bladder and LE issues. 3 riders have switched back to their original brands due to the constant leaking bladders, 2 riders have experience blow outs on ...
Ran woo 2 & 3 side by side for quite a few sessions now. Woo 3 measures consistently higher sometimes only slightly but often around a metre higher. The highest jump is either missed by the Woo 2 completely or up to a metre lower.
This happened to me again yesterday. Well overpowered on my 10m trigger - I can usually 'walk' up the centre lines to self land but even fully depowered there was too much pull so I activated the QR. The bar went 2m to the swivel and stuck - it must have been blowing around 25-30 knots. I managed to...
If you mean the zip tag fraying - happened almost immediately. Not an issue though I'll just trim it. The slipping poles is an issue though and, although I've heard from wizmount regarding the bent clamp I still don't have a replacement. Action Camera's wanted to charge me for a replacement clamp......
I bought a Wizmount from action cameras - the UK distributor. Seemed pretty good but once the interlocking poles have been positioned it does tend to slip a little. You have to tighten the clamps prettu tight to avoid the camera moving position. The second time I took it out the lever on one of the ...
Same thing happened to me only not on such a disasterous scale. The knot joining the safety and centre lines got jammed against the rim of the inside of the swivel preventing the safety sliding to its full length. Here a pic of the setup: http://i1291.photobucket.com/albums/b543/Gary_Leighton/IMAG06...
Just thought I'd post an update on these kites as I've flown them both a fair bit now. The fat lady does have a lot more bottom end than the 14m (and a ton more bar pressure) but the 14m is doing it for me. I was out today in around 15 knots usting mid 20's and it was fantastic. The 14m turns fast f...
I was refering to the front bridal setting. The front bridal has 2 connection points similar to the trigger - they aren't marked on the kite and there is no fat lady manual to refer to - any ideas? I'm assuming that the second setting (not as it is setup from factory) is similar to the 'advanced wav...
Thanks for the post URSS - nicely balanced. I've recently bought a Fat lady 2011 and can't say I'm that impressed so far. I haven't had any flat water and been forced to use it in lighter winds in roughish sea which isn't ideal but on the few days I've used it in fairly flat conditions the downwind ...
The FL like the triggers has 2 front bridle settings. The standard setting is closest to the wing tips but using the 'inner' setting sits it further forward in the window with a little loss in power....but only a little.
