Re: Hello all help with rigging wipika air blast

There is two lines on each end of the kite with a pulley and a line on the back edge of the 2nd tube 7 tubes in total. I'm guessing I just use the end lines if so how does the pulley work and is the line on the 2nd tube just a fifth line flag out safety? The extra line was to improve relaunch but i...

Re: Scoring of tricks in GKA air games?

I never compare myself to others & keep winning prizes for some reason... those who compete with me don’t get it, but that’s why they can’t reach my level... maybe I’m too arrogant to compete in what I know I’m good at How are you winning prizes if you're not competing? Do random strangers just wal...

Re: Is Wakestyle dead?

The mass wants to stay upwind, jump, do a Darkslide and Deadman. Where I kite you see far more people unhooking than doing darkslides, let alone Deadman (unless you mean that halfhearted lean back a bit and bend at the waist to bring your legs up to the same height as your beerbelly thing that seem...

Strapless freestyle. It just looks awkward - why use a surfboard when a wake skate will do the job better?

Re: Mutants for stupid conditions!

Inserts run straight down the centre line of the board, so straps could be set up symmetrically if you wanted. The space craft rides pretty much like a twintip with a slight directional bias - the other LF hippy sticks might work better if you're after more of an old school mutant experience.

Re: Shinn el Stubbo Zeeko Aluminium 90cm Hydrofoil

I picked up an el stubbo with a 70(?)cm mast last year. It was 2nd hand so didn't get any option on mast length. So far I've had maybe 15 sessions, if the water is flattish I can make maybe 25% of my gybes in one direction and 5% in the other. To be honest I don't currently feel that the shorter mas...

Re: What to consider when choosing kitesurfing brand.

Do people chose brands? Just buy the kit that works for you - the manufacturer is largely irrelevant.

Re: Belize Ambergris Caye - Info Please

I went to Ambergris Caye a few years ago during new year. Was only there for several days and the following could be out of date but this is what my initial impressions were: - Kiting around San Pedro on your own will be difficult - the accessible bits of beach on the East side of the island have a ...

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

I was looking at an old Cab bar picture online and didn't seem like it's any different from my setup except the PU on the rope itself. Again not trying or being hard headed just don't necessarily see the difference. Not used that bar but it looks like it suffers from the same flaw. The more recent ...
