Re: North Rebel 2018

The only thing lost in this equation is the unique feeling of the loaded 5th line, that made unique the Rebel. But who cares... The older Rebels owners? A "few of hard die 5th line fanatics" cannot be compared to hundreds of newbies that wanted to approach the Rebel and they were frightened of unro...

On a side note – please don't take anything @pullstrings says seriously. His responses are aimed to derail conversations, no substance in them. Not sure why he keeps doing it...

Re: Safest Control Bar

are you trolling? have you ever kited before? letting your bar go is the first thing you should do when you crash He's just pulling your strings. Nobody is actually stupid enough to seriously argue that you should never let go of your bar. I let go of mine probably 50-100 times every session....

Re: Safest Control Bar

How about an adjustable pressure sensor at the v split so if the bar bumps it's nothing happens but if the bar slams it, release happens? Kind of like how ski bindings will allow some shock but then will let go with too much. There we go an other good idea :thumb: ...keep em coming people ...be cre...

Re: Safest Control Bar

Exactly Yeah let's invent an automatic QR...as the bar goes away from your hands ( you gotta let it go anyway during danger) it pulls with a line the quick release and opens up the chicken loop 2 seconds will be saved...less chances of getting hurt or worse You two should start working on that desi...

It could be done with an IDS kite (where the kite is designed to roll on it's back when the bar goes out 3m). You let go of the bar and it flags out. To reset you pull in 3m of line to get to the bar.
Finally a good answer
