Re: Kite Board Hydro Foils available April 2018

There is another Australian brand as well.

www.konradboarding.com

They have an alloy kite foil called the Versa.

This is a new surf foil that is coming very soon.

Re: Foils that hum!

When i say "outgrow" its in the sense i want faster and better performance etc. The LF board is super heavy!

As a starter and a cruiser the LF setup is pretty good.

Re: Are Switch kites getting any better?

I don't care how good the Switch kites are I wont support them as their business model cuts out the local store who is there to help you out with repairs, backup and service when you need it. Where are switch when you need a part, a hand or even some friendly advice?? Yep in NZ far away not with the...

3. Least likely to Hindenburg when the lines slack(or drift)
4. Most fun to fly in light wind

And the winner is......Fat Lady :D

Right on!

Re: Are Switch kites getting any better?

all their gear has been pretty average, i wont buy them for that reason but the main reason is they cut out the shops who are doing the right thing by servicing, teaching and keeping the kiters safe by being there for customers.

Re: NRG, Fat Lady, and Zephyr

Its hard to give a kite a bad rap by saying you ride up to a kiter on "kite A" who is self rescuing on "kite B" light wind kiting is an art that not all kiters can accomplish with ease! I have not ridden the Turbine but it looks like a good LW option. I have spent a bit of time on all these kites an...

Re: Front line swivel mod w/ single front line safety,Workin

i dont see the re ride being sacrificed on a front line flag, i teach on the LF envy and we are always releasing as part of the class and having students fix them selves up with little trouble. I also fly the the blade trigger quite a lot, it was 35+ knots in my last session. i over flew a kite loop...

Re: 2013 Blade Fat Lady

17m is a big kite to ride on a surfboard but if any kite is suited its definitely the FL, while its fast on the longest setting on the uni bar if you went up to a 55cm bar its very fast. Drift wise yes it works well you can ride straight at it in 10 knots as long as you don't go too fast on a wave, ...
