Hey Guys,
I'm in SanFran for the next week or so and am looking for some nice spots to kite and people to kite with whilst I'm here.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: kitesurfing holiday january 2013

We exclude southafrica because I think the conditions are too hard for my girlfriend No need to rule out SA, check out Langebaan which is about an hours drive north of Cape Town. Shark Bay is 2km worth of warm, waist deep, flat water lagoon which is perfect for learning on! Jess http://www.thekites...

Re: Kitesurfing Brain Teaser

Would you be flying a LEI or a foil? I was watching some people paramotoring a few weeks ago and I was thinking the same thing; if their motor cut out, would they still have enough forward momentum to bring them safely to the ground or would the loss of forward momentum kill the air in the foil and ...

Re: wich kite should i buy

You still need to give us information like what sort of conditions do you usually ride in, ie. average wind range etc.

Re: Which the best spot in Australia in August?

Western Australia is pretty good at that time of year.. Although, instead of getting odd bits of advice from people who don't know Australia that well on this forum, check out the Australian forum: http://www.seabreeze.com.au They'll be able to help you out no problems. Re: Anyone kited in Corfu?

Cheers for the info Oceansprince, although I couldn't quite find my way around that website as my Greek is rusty to say the least!

Now it's just a matter of trying to get my kitegear to Corfu without it costing me a fortune!

Anyone kited in Corfu?

So, it's the down season for us until October so I was looking around at cheap places to go on holiday to tide me over until South Africa kicks into gear, and I came across some incredibly cheap package deals to Corfu.. Has anyone ever been? Is there any good kitesurfing there? If yes, then where ar...

Re: Landing with non-kiter help

The fixed point self landing method can be applied with the help of a bystanding non-kiter if a fixed point is not handy. Just ask him/her to hold the chicken loop close to the ground, playing the role of a fixed point. Wouldn't it be just as easy to get them to catch and land the kite for you? Saf...

Re: gymnastics in Kiteboarding?

I've known a few people who have used old kitebars tied to trees with a trampoline underneath to help them perfect things like handle passes, much easier and less painful to learn to movements that way!

Re: Amit Inbar you SUCK!

He is biased because the only gold medal Israel has won was in Windsurfing. :cool2: He's biased because he used to compete for Israel in windsurfing!! Of course he doesn't want kitesurfing to take over from windsurfing, he wouldn't have a chance to ride in the Olympics! As for how dangerous the spo...
