Re: Back pain - waist harness with decent back support?

abdominal and leg muscles ,yoga and streching exercise after and before session ( 5 10 min) out of water before extra tired. I have waist regular, waist with carbon reinforcement and seat harness that feel better for me. One more vote for abdominal muscles. My experience is different here. I had to ...

Re: All round Big air kite

I have a quiver of 12 and 9m. I'm hesitating between 6 or 7m. I'm 85 kg and 1m90. Which size is more appropriate for me ? Thank's ! 7m seems fine. I can't speak for big crappy kites as my quiver these days is 5,7,8 but if you want to ride strapless I would strongly advise against the nitro which re...

Re: Slingshot SST compared to 2012 Rally in Madison, Wi.

Hi, lots of useful information here ! Can someone compare the sst to REV, octane, RPM in terms of turning speed and bar pressure ? Especially interested in small sizes. I just got myself a 2015 rpm 7m, nice kite but way too much bar pressure IMO. I tried the rally only twice over 5 years and was not...

Re: The wind carries 300 meters to a kitesurfer in Dénia

What I do see here is a low level kite surfer with a pure C-shape, boots, board short above wetsuit, gopro. I am surprised he doesn't have a knee brace though, it really adds to the style. How much do I hate to see kiters keeping lines under tension when someone is struggling to control their kite ...

Re: The wind carries 300 meters to a kitesurfer in Dénia

Sounds like this guy dealt with as best as could be expected once he had made the choice to not pull QR. Check this vid from a few years ago, obviously the rider should not have underestimated a cloud like that when he was already lit on a 7m. It does show how sharp the front can be! action starts ...

Isn't it the board off rotation you wanted to see at about 2mn42s ?

Double frontroll downloop

Pretty impressed with kevin's double frontroll at kota ! Anyone's got a video showing both the kite and the kiter ? It seems to me he doesn't spin the bar after landing which would mean double downloop ... but I don't get the timing of it. Anyone ?

Re: North WAM 2010 vs WAM 2015 vs what else for a wave newb?

I think for your weight and strapless a 5'8" is going to be just a touch small. I've not ridden the WAM, but in general surf shapes you'd be better off on a 5'10" or 6'0". My opinion too. I am 183 cm for 76 kg, riding strapless, jumps and small waves, choppy conditions most of the time, and I am ve...

Is there a reason why you're not using it for kites ?
