Re: Raley, straight or bent arms?

YES!! Lior at 1:30 does it like I do it! Arms bent, but also elbows quite close to the chest! I tried with straight arms today, and I have to say it was easier to get great pop and huge air that way, but I felt it in my shoulders... I didn't try to pull for the blind/pass today though, just the raley.

Re: Raley, straight or bent arms?

I think that sounds great The Joe! Of course you wanna look good but you also want to be technical, and avoid injury.
I've been watching this video with Aaron while learning the trick and he's got very straight arms, which looks great, but...

Re: Raley, straight or bent arms?

Sounds wise Consumer. And I see your point Edt, I guess it depends on what trick you wanna go into after the raley, which I guess a lot of tricks start off with? As I wrote I'm practising raley to blind. Will it be harder for me to pull the arms towards the hips for the spin, as you are supposed to,...

Raley, straight or bent arms?

Hi guys! I see people do the raley and raley to blind quite differently, but the biggest difference I see is straight/bent arms. I'm practising raley to blind right now. When I do my raleys I keep my elbows quite close to my body, so the arms a bent. Should I keep my arms straight instead? When I tr...

Re: Any reviews on the new 2013 LF Influence?

As long as I can hold an edge and stomp for good pop with 141x43 with straps, then I would love to go for that size! :)

Re: Any reviews on the new 2013 LF Influence?

Sounds awesome! I'm 190 cm tall and weigh 90 kilos. I ride with straps. Should I go for the 137 or 141?

I'm planing a trip somewhere for 3 weeks in January. Where do I go to get consistent winds and loads of flat water? And maybe some nice ladies :)
