Re: What's your favorite lightwind kite?

I am one for Ocean Rodeo Flite 17m. Turns great, light, I don't like the valve to pump it up, to cheap, however probably for weight reasons. I bought this with bar as well, it turns faster than my switch Element 13m. Nice kite.

Cape Hatteras in May

Hi, curious about Hatteras in May. last time I went to Avon, which was nice and laid back, I went late September. Now looking to go again in May, but would like to try maybe a different location. Is there an area someone could recommend, that might be a little more lively in the evening, better rest...

Re: Holbox Mexico

So getting to Holbox, did you fly into Cancun and take a bus? I assume a rental car doesn't make sense, if there are no cars on the Peninsula? How are food and hotel costs?

Sharpie Marker removel on kite

He also built some old velgrove holder on inflatable portion for a go pro. I would also like to remove these large strips and there adhesive. looks ...

Re: Kite lines

The front and back lines are equal in length correct, in all cases? Any pigtails i add i must add to all four lines, so lengths are equal? I assume the main thing is to just be able to go loop to knot or vice versa, so bar lines connect to kite. so in my case i will take the four pigtails i had in t...

Camrig Universal Line mount with swivel device

Has anyone come up with anything for the Camrig universal Line mount's in order to have the action camer'as swivel, so I don't have to video edit. I have the Garmin Ultra 30, and the video edit software only allows 180 degree rotation, so it doesn't really adjust my recordings using the line mounts....

Re: Kite lines

paulwoller what do you mean when you say swap the pigtails? The Element and Nitro use a long length of rope/line on the outside line with two knots, and the inside lines attach with a larkin loop on the bridle. Are you referring to my spare pigtails?

Re: Kite lines

Yes, I heard it was better to change pigtails on kite rather than bar. I have these very short pigtails from slingshot, like two inches long. I did notice on the OR bar, the two outside lines have like a pigtail added maybe 5" long, but the inside lines are regular lines, why did they do it like tha...
