Re: Wave Priority? My ass!

At least the SB guy was "strictly hooked in" that's all I can say in his defence.

Lock your twintip into a closet, and give the key to someone who will only give it back when you have learned to foil, that is my best advice
...
Good advice I did that 2 years ago and can't be bothered with the TT unless it's over 25-30 kn (6m2 is my smallest kite).

Re: Crazyfly F-Lite for intermediate?

The board has M6 inserts with about 10mm long thread. The mounting felt weird at first as my previous board is SB construction with long inserts, but this board is a lot more durable. I see no risk of the inserts ripping out after all its similar layup to a twintip with the inserts all the way up to...

Re: Crazyfly F-Lite for intermediate?

...The funny thing is that on the F-lite the holes go right through the board (so screw and nut), while on the Chill there are inserts (so screw directly into the board). In the second case the length of the screw is important and is likely to vary according to the foil that you use. I don't know w...

Re: Coating your Kite

There is an old DWR thread here on KF about silicone and terpentine. I applied the mixture to an old foil kite which was porous and the DWR layer was long gone and it worked like a charm. Lasted about 1 season then it started sucking water again. However the weight penalty was big as far as I rememb...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

... Start educating yourself by looking up: 1) global sequential in-place water vapor generation, 2) global frequency control via Nexrad/ Dopplar/ phased array grid, 3) global chemtrail program - frequency controllable components (IE: Nexrad frequency) ... Why is that no kite manufacturers are maki...

Re: any reviews on small crazyfly foil board?

I have the 115cm used it 4hrs so far. Really light super strong the tip has a nice flex to help with touchdowns. Not really forgiving during transitions but better than I expected.
The 99cm is a real beast I guess :)

Re: 12 vs 15m for Marginal

... How much difference there is between 12 and 15 with these kites from just can or cannot ride perspective? ... I'm 82kgs and have an FRS 12 (fore sale btw) I sold my 15m because it feels overpowered with the foil as soon as the wind is around 9-10kn. I can foil with the 12 frs from 7-8kn (I gues...

Re: Crazyfly F-Lite for intermediate?

Thanks guys awesome inputs! I had a chance to try the Chill (130x446 last Weekend in marginal conditions (sub 10kn) for cca. 30 mins (wind died..) I fell in love with the thing... What about LW performance of the 115 f-lite? We often get sub 10 kn conditions and if the Chill is a lot better for that...
