Re: Ozone releases R1V3...does this crap ever end?!

It also mean you can pick up an R1V2 at a big discount and have an amazing kite! I don't think so, they are made on demand if you want a Ozone race kite you have to wait 28 days. I meant second hand. Nah, foilkite prices are still held artificially high in the 2nd hand market. Won't last for much l...

Re: How does your bar handle center line Twists?

Sorry what is the point about sheeting and sharp turning? This is not at all affected by the swivel system. If you're hooked in it's not swivelling at all, except if you're doing a rotation. There is no difference in resistance to sheeting in or out that on any other bar system. It's an effect of t...

Re: How does your bar handle center line Twists?

In the short time I've had the North Click bar I can easily say this is by some distance the best centre line system. It doesn't auto-untwist - it never twists in the first place as the chicken loop itself simply rotates below the far, and the centre lines don't twist. The bearings are ope n so eas...

Re: Safety Alert: Cabrinha 2017 Power Bracket Seat Replacement

Are Cab bars overly problematic or do other companies just not do recalls/safety bulletins? This is a serious question, and I'm not trying to start a flame war with Cab. I just really would like to know? I've had a couple Cab bars in the past. 2014 was total trash and the 2015 was fine, but did hav...

Re: How does your bar handle center line Twists?

I'm done with atb swivels. If they work, it's for a limited time. Then you have to rince and lube them all over again. They also don't work that well anymore when you have a slight length difference between the two front lines. My Switch swivel worked pretty well for a limited time, but I don't both...

Re: Let’s Make Kitesurfing Safer… There is an Easy and Effective Way!

Good write up. But it completely misses the root cause of most server accidents! That is a fundamental lack of understanding of weather and wind conditions. Kite selection is key. you cannot select the appropriate kites without in good understand of weather patterns and how that affects the wind. T...

Re: Let’s Make Kitesurfing Safer… There is an Easy and Effective Way!

Schools should take their responsibility and focus more on common sense, theory, equipment knowledge and safety in stead of getting someone as fast as possible on the water. That should already help a bunch.

Re: Question for Switchblade Owners – 14M vs 12M

I would keep the the 14m. It's not just about getting on a plane, in which case the 12m would be fine too, but also being able to do some other stuff, where you would benefit more from the 14m.

Re: Cabrinha, Airush or Liquid Force for first kite?

Hi all. Many thanks for your answers. One more question please. How do these three brands compare quality wise ? They all have their stronger and weaker points. In the end, either kite will be fine quality wise and last you a long time as long as you treat them right (so watch out for sharp rocks/s...
