Re: Twin Tip Foil Kite Riders Line Lengths

I have zero idea of what TT riders will prefer. But regarding kitefoiling, my preferences are very clear: 8 m2 is the "change from fun and waves to lightwind zone" and I use 27-28 meter lines for an 8. For smaller I use 18-22 meter lines, NEVER shorter, hate it, and longer doesnt make sense either ...

Re: Twin Tip Foil Kite Riders Line Lengths

17m or 20m. The bridle lines are long so I really dislike longer than 20m lines. Personally I use 20m lines on my fs souls and sonics. If I do 17m lines the heliloops get a lot stronger. Ya cool. I am primarily interested in the effect of the line length in terms of maximizing my hangtime. A helilo...

Twin Tip Foil Kite Riders Line Lengths

Hello group. I am wondering what size lines people prefer for foil kites. I know people prefer short lines for a hydrofoil but what about twin tip riding? I know with LEI kites 22-25m is the sweet spot for normal riding and jumping etc. Do foil kites have the same sweet spot line length for twin tip...

Re: Dsd Bw Stallion Overhead. Anyone tried it?

I rode this board once on a perfect Indo day with double overhead waves, best session of my life. Board is super fast and stable when at speed. Felt super confident to charge in these conditions with this board at my feet.

Waterproof Case for Smart Watch

I have a Samsung S3 Frontier smartwatch that I would like to take kitesurfing. This watch is only water resistant. I was wondering if anyone has ever kitesurfed with this watch and/or if anyone has found a waterproof case online or come up with a clever way to make their own.

Re: Woo3 and Nixon Mission

Has anyone ever seen a waterproof case for a smartwatch? I know they are already "waterproof" to some degree but Im not so sure they would hold up if you have a huge wipeout after a big jump... I have seen one for apple watch but not for any other brands. Also would be awesome to use my smartwatch w...

Re: Big Air/Kiteloop Progression Kites

Cabrinha FX would be my choice, absolutley solid kite with good comfortable bar and lines. I'm now into looping and big air and love how the FX flies. I also use the Enduro V2 which is nice and loops beautifully. Previous kite was a bandit X . How does the FX handle gusts compared to the Bandit?

Best bar ever made? LF Mission V3

Anyone got the new Liquid Force bar yet? Looks awesome. Highlight being the simplicity, the high-y adjuster and the solid red on the left side of the bar. What do you guys think? If anyone buys and doesnt need the high-y adjuster please let me know. I would be happy to buy off you! https://www.youtu...

Re: Jesse Richman leaving Naish

Another great day here, and in the final session from 17:00 to 18:30 it was nuking and about half the KOTA field was at Kitebeach and I and most everyone else came in to watch them instead of getting in the way. Kevin Langaree on Pivot 8m, Nick Jacobsen on North prototype 9m, Liam Whaley on Fone?, ...

Minimize Harness Rash Healing Time

I am on an extended kitesurf vacation and my harness has caused a nasty rash to the point that it is painful to anything other than mow the lawn. Can anyone recommend best method to help the rash heal as quick as possible? Prefer any all natural way of healing if possible. I already know to wear a d...
