Re: Infinity V3 light wind machine kite (4G)

I love my 3g Screamer 14! That thing gets me some of the most massive boosts I've ever experienced with seemingly endless hangtime, and even though it's a high aspect kite, it has some nice drift to it, which make it nice and forgiving if you underfly the kite a little coming off a jump. :thumb:

Re: Bar Length Question

a bigger bar may make the kite behave a little weird, though depending on the kite design. ive flown kites with too big a bar, and it can make them stall out if they try to turn faster than they can fly forward i always go with the manufacturers recommended bar, you know it is tested and works well...

Re: ocean rodeo "go joe"?

Hmm, maybe one of those tall orange triangular flags they put on the three-wheeled bicycles for the old people who might be run down in traffic without them? How about one of those diving buoys? Seem like reasonable safety features...

Re: check this out: a very cool new wind meter

Is it really necessary to have a wind meter? I mean, maybe if you're green and can't judge the conditions, it might be fine, but has anyone who has been kiting say over a year ever looked at the conditions, thought it looked fine, put up a 12 and died? I have never owned a meter, and never really fe...

No, I usually curse like a sailor and loudly pass gas for emphasis.

Re: When to switch to a waist harness

or how about no harness at all !! LOL, I remember one guy kiting for about 20 minutes at the local spot with no harness at all, and making it look good, tossing some handle passes. Maybe he forgot it at home and didn't feel like going back for it. After a little while, he was worn out and spent the...

Re: When to switch to a waist harness

This debates been going on forever in the windsurfer world. Seat vs waist. it looks like a diaper , blah blah blah. Do I want the stress on the arch of my back and my rib cage or spread out over my hips, ass, and legs with almost zero risk of injury. The seat haters only have one line( it looks like...
