Yes, and if you jump unhooked with a kite that has the tendency to fly upwind, you don't have this massive pull-feeling like with a kite that sits nicely in front of you, for instance a C or the VaporX. Wakestyle can actually be fun with the right kind of kite.

Btw: As for re-sale value: Yes, Airush used to be a terrible investment. But I also think this had a lot to do with the brand recognition and not necessarily with the quality of their products. I found the Dicke Berta from Szene-Solutions to go upwind better than the Door. The Berta is the only board I know which has this strange sideline with those cuts in the middle part. Maybe this helps for going upwind? I went upwind so easily with that board in very low wind that I had problems comin...
