the leash depowers the kite almost completly and the kite will continue going hte directio that it is going. Thus suicide leash. The kite can start looping repeatdly but most tons will just depower tons and make retrioeveing the handle not that bad. relaunch is same as any kite that crashes though s...

you can break any board. LF boards do take more work than others to break though. Put mine into a rail at a cable park (stupid rail did not go deep enough into the water) and all i got on my Drop LTD were two dings on the front rail. Very durable though.

DC's boards are awful, break easy and are heavy. They have crappy pop and can't go upwind. (hopefully that dissuades enough people for me to be able to put in an order and not have to wait three months because everyone wants one of derecks boards) Seriously though, i am definatly going to be thinkin...

I ride the 138 2005 ltd and it is a freaking awesome board. I have had no problems with going upwind, going through chop and def none on flat water. I also use it as my cable park board and it even gets good pop there and definatly takes a beating. I came up to a rail at the cable park all setup to ...

helmets are required at crandon beach. If you have going to be buying gear there, there is a nice shop on the island that will help you out. http://www.TKSmiami.com is their website. about 2 min from the beach. That would probably be the best place to buy a kite in miami unless you go straight from ...

i saw them at the expo as well. They weigh about the same as last year with similar outlines as well. Should be no major departure from last years but probably ride a little smoother with the new tweaks. The new boots are SICK. Their new design on the footstraps and harness are very nice as well (ob...
