Garmin Geko301

I bought the Geko 301 because it has barometric hight, so you can figure out how high your jumps are. Not exactly but gives an impression. Also the other things you want. I put it 90 degrees turned on the bar. No problems up to now.

Maybe Skoop again

I like to hear other people liked their Skoop too. Where I do kitesurfing I am almost the only one with a Skoop. What Peter-Frank wrote that it also picks-up gusty winds is also my opinion. When many others where blown away in gusts, I couls still go on. You can jump very high with it. Only neg. poi...

Replacement Takoon SkoopI 11,5

After using my skoop I for 2,5 years, my kite has torn into nearly 2 pieces. So now I have to look for another 12m2 kite. What I am looking for is a kite which I can fly as soon as the skoop and also with great depower. I loved the skoop for that. I have tried the Nitro and Airush Lift Pro. Both of ...

Strongwindkite (~7 bft)

I've got a black tip 8.2(flat) from 2002 which I use for strong winds but can't hold it as long as i want (although I am 98 kg). There is enough overlap with my skoop 11.5, but just want a small kite that i can fly with more wind. Thinking about Best Yarga 7, Best nemisis 8, Rhino4 8m2. Who has used...

Did you sleeve your lines halfway? And how does it fly?? I can imagine you will lose some low end, because the Y shape makes your projected size a bit smaller... Ow, and what size kite do you fly with it? Yes, i sleeved the line halfway and put a knot in it (preveting for slipping) and then connect...

Have seen a drawing with linelength of 13.40 m. I have used a original 27 m line which I conneted halfway to the base line, so 13.5 m. Also read about problems for the big kites (20m), because the Y puts the kite out of shape.

Yes this guy is very very lucky and i hope he will recover for 100%. Had 4 weeks ago also a serious accident with onshore wind at the Lake of Annecy in France. Very strong wind, but thought I could manage to kite upwind in these conditions and after 100 m from starting place the coast bends 90 degre...
