Re: North Launches The Reach

Does anyone have experience with the 15m for light wind wakestyle riding? I got to fly the 9m, 12m and 15m Reach. All sizes unhook very well surprisingly. The kite was designed to surf, foil, boost and loop. Normally there’s always a trade off but this kite in every size has been so fun to fly. Whe...

Re: Getting into the boots using soap or lubricate?

Get new boots. The majority of boots today completely open up and don't need any lube. Save the lube for the bedroom 😜

Re: New Naish Dash

I ended up with the 9m dash and found the kites are close in wind range. However the dash is a whole different machine than the torch. It's a bit intimidating as it loops are very powered and not as tight as the torch. Getting height and staying at that height on the dash seems to be easier as well....

Re: One-size kite - idea - is it impossible?

I'd recommend a 14m c kite. The 14m torch will do ok in the light winds (feels like 12m) but can be held down in 25+ throw a rockered board on and boost!

Re: New Naish Dash

I've got 2017 11m torch but I can't decide if I should get the 9m Dash or Torch. The high end on the 11m is insane and a friend of mine told me his 2017 9m torch lacked in the low end. I'm thinking maybe an 8m or 9m dash or torch. Any advice would help

Re: Naish Torch 2017 Problems (No Power)

So I had the opportunity to ride the 2017 14m Torch over the last couple days. The wind was 15-23 so I was able to test its upper and low ends. It took me awhile to get use to the kite but once I did I realized the kite is a different machine. I feel this kite was never designed to be a light wind k...

Re: 2017 naish torch

The Grey and Green torch looks very sharp - well done. Obviously they didn't test the Mutiny above bar swivel - could have had a great swivel like mine coming up 4 years old and still works like new with no line twists ! Unlike their cheap crap one. Why even bother untwisting by hand below the bar....

Re: 2017 naish torch

Looks like the 5th line splits towards the leading edge and with the lower v, i wonder if it will fly more like the chaos and vegas? I'm digging it
