Re: Flysurfer sonic Race

I had a closer look at the Sonic Race bridle today. For anything but the tips, A is connected straight to the front lines, B is on 1:4. and Z is straight on the backlines. A, B, Z are attached close to equidistant, with Z fairly far (~25cm) forward, near the front of the miniribs. With B on 1:4 rat...

Re: Ozone speed system adjustment

Yeah I sat down to do this now and I can't decide on what those dimensions mean. e.g. PB3 is connected to a pulley, is 200mm measured from the loop to the end of the pulley? Or maybe the top of the pulley? Or is it loop to loop and then attach the pulley? Same with PC1. If anyone has a this speed sy...

Re: Ozone speed system adjustment

Has anyone made their own "Pro Tune" speed system? I broke the speed system and some bridles on my 9m Chrono V1 the other day and I don't feel like spending any money on it :) I found the dimensions in the R1 V3 manual: PA1 590 PA2 460 PB1 980 PB2 530 PB3 200 PC1 540 I'm assuming that includes the a...

Re: R1V2 wing sides collapsing

If the kite's not fully inflated and the tips flop in, that's expected. Use a lot of brake to launch, or pre inflate.

Re: Ozone Chrono 9m Upper Limit

EDIT: just read your post properly :) If you don't want to be super powered then a 7m or 8m would be plenty in 20. You might consider a tube kite for those kinds of wind speeds though, especially if you're not racing. Little foils aren't that much fin for free riding. For racing I'll got up to 25 kn...

Woohoo, made It to the gold fleet! Really great to compete between the best riders of this planet and learn a lot from them. You really need to compete against them to appreciate their level of racing.
Well done Evan!

It also mean you can pick up an R1V2 at a big discount and have an amazing kite!
I don't think so, they are made on demand if you want a Ozone race kite you have to wait 28 days.
I meant second hand.
