Re: Let's talk risk (KOTA)

As a kiter, me personally, I am not excited to see if kiting becomes an olympic sport. Nor did I care too much for the PKRA and WTA (or whatever the name of the other tour was). I simply love kiting and want to be on the water doing it, on the beach talking about it and generally prioritize my life ...

Re: North kiteboarding - bar

Great R&D...and a great reason to charge $800+ dollars for a bar. So where is this magic button located exactly? Any change I'm going to hit that while attempting a KGB? Oh no worries I can't do that anyway :) My preference...keep it simple and clean with parts that are relatively easy to replace. M...

Re: Torn knee ligament advice with kitesurfing

Goodluck on the healing! Should take about 12 months before 100 % again.

My advise: go for the strapless, which is way easier on the knees, and add another dimension t your riding.

Re: New Zealand

I think you can kite at most beaches, but you obviously have to check with the locals. I was there some years ago on a similar trip and ended up bringing my gear too. Only got one good wind day, but managed to get out and happy to be able to say now that I kited there. The place I was, I don't remem...

Yes!
Haven't been that location, but this is the windy season so you might as well go for it.

Enjoy

Re: Unwanted 'unhooking' while launching

Oh no....don't do that.
Under load it will NOT release when you need it to.

easiest solution is to either replace/extend the donkey dick so you can use that during the launch.

Good luck

Re: Chaos 2015 low end

I hear you and completely agree.
However I see you ride the Wainman joke (I do too) and due to the big rocker it's not a great board to ride in low wind conditions. You would be better off with a board with much less rocker.

As for the kite....haven't flown it so can't comment.
