Re: Choosing equipment

I personally do not like to mix kite and bar brands. I like knowing my bar was 100% designed to work with my kite and I also think it hurts resale value..IMO

Re: Seat harness or back harness? whats the benefits

Give a waist harness a try. I have lower back pain, but it doesn't bother me with a quality supportive waist harness. These days I like the snug, slim, Ride Engine harnesses. You can find the 2016 on sale now as they are pushing the current models (I don't think they've changed noticeably). ($186 w...

Re: Help understanding wind directions and why

That would be fuc*ing ridiculous! 5 lines is why we fly Rebels. If it ever went 4 I'd be gone from North.
Lots of awesome kites on 4 lines( actually almost ALL kites are on 4) I had 2014 Rebels, didn't personally feel the magic, I like my EVOS much better.

Re: North Rebel dog years?

Rebel "dog years" is relative. It's always been a pretty successful kite. Was our bestselling kite every year from 2007 through 2015. The only real issue we had was when we went 4-strut (think it was '09?). The design was great, but heavier guys could "fold" the LE. We put out an extra noseline tha...
