We just had a local kiter scratch his foot on a shell fish, two days later he needed to be med flighted from Martha's Vineyard to Boston it got so bad. I guess
it's called a Vibrio.

I use NP booties, they do get sand in from time to time but not a problem..

I like the feeling of snug but not locked in. I will squeeze my toes during jumps or the few tricks I do to lock in the board even better. It's good knowing I can kick the board off when I won't.

Kite, kite ,kite, it's all about the kite. Board skills may help a little but give you little advantage. Sailing and weather knowledge are far more beneficial IMO. Kiting is about learning the dance between the kite and the board(edging, resistance). It can be a little frustrating figuring it out at...

I have the same board and the same noise , I called CF rep in TX and he said thats fins . They made fins "beefier" this year and thats what cause it . He said there is no issue with performance because of that . I had the regular (non carbon) model for a few session and there was no noise. I wonder...

Good idea....The monks are for sale after several years of service, but I do still have them.

Everything is tight, fins look fine. But I will try switch them around and see if that helps.
