I thought about gluing them back on the outside, but it wasn't too difficult to put them back the way they came.
Do your valves have stopper balls in them Windrider?
That could explain why they're mounted that way. (to keep the ball from falling into the bladder)

I did 5 fill/dump valve delams last weekend Adding to all your great tips with some pictures peel them of the bladder. pull them through the hole. valve01.jpg soak them in boiling hot water to straighten them back out. valve02.jpg stick valve back through the hole in bladder. put a pencil in the hol...

Awsome job ZFM! My suggestion...ride the board you copied if you can. I wouldn't start changing things especially if You have not tried it out the way it was designed. latex exterior house paint/minwax polyurethane clearcoat.

Thats how I would have done it. My other suggestion would have been to
tape off the deck and hull at the repair area then clamp it. This will prevent you from
gluing the wood clamping blocks to your board.
The blue painters tape works the best, and is easily removed from epoxy.

how bout a piece of that aluminum carpet/linoleum capping. start w/ a centerline, plot your tips and center width, put a nail on each tip, put strip against nails, push/pull strip to centerline, and trace. you can always adjust and plot a couple of extra points if it dosnt "look" the way you want it...
