Best way to add bolt threads in the board for the mast when building board?

Thinking of making a pocket board, but what's the best way to attach the mast in to board when I don't want to have through the board bolts & nuts but have the mast bolts threaded to the board, please?

Thanks very much! :thumb:

Re: How to build a bar? Just the rod/pole item ~60cm. Anyone done it?

I am rigging a couple of bars with different configurations. One I will have a single center depower line using 3/16 (4.7625mm) Amsteel. I want to protect it from wear, so I want to try covering it with 3/16ID Polyurethane tubing. Is there a specific type of PU tubing I should be using. I was think...

PEter, have you tested the new Storm kites 11m and 13m you bought (mentioned in another thread)? Would be nice to hear any feedback on them and how they compare to your Voyager 12m.

Re: “Light” wind tubes

Jake, what's the difference between Boxer and Hyperlink (what size?), I mean in the low end? I have the Boxer 12 2018/19 and it will be fine until it drops from the sky at around 7 knots.

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

I like neos but i dont use kite lift in HF transition. Im too undepowered for that. But i suppose it is quite size dependent. 7 neo gives me hard time on SB tack as there is just zip to other side. 9 is much easier. I would like to have neos with better drift in low wind on HF and better low wind w...

Re: Moses 2018

guys, have you sanded down a bit the razor sharp edges of the trailing edge of the back wing (483) and if so, has it affected anyway to the ride? The back wing is frikkin sharp, and already punctured me when walking to the water and gust got me off balance a bit and hit my arm to the back wing => de...

Re: Lecca-Lecca Minima 11m First Flight

hey people who have tested the 11m, what's the lowend estimate for Onda 633 foil, please? I am 80kg, and look for a kite for marginal winds, say 6knots and onwards. Would the 11m fit the bill? I am pretty good at pumping the foil on plane etc.

Thanks! :jump:

Jonysan, thanks very much! I appreciate your time and look forward to your explanation before doing anything. I have some knowledge on epoxy/resin and fixed a few dents, but this is on another level and therefore I very much listen more experienced guys. Thanks again.
