I used to liv...

Re: Beginner kites with the best safety systems?

Gotta recommend the Ocean Rodeo Prodigy kite and stick shift bar! kite: very stable and forgiving, great wind range and depower, easy turning and drifting, low to medium bar pressure, roll-over bridle, over sheeting (back stalling) isn't an issue... recommended for beginner to advanced and beyond Ba...

Re: How To Self-Land a Kite in High Winds

Ocean Rodeo gear on an Epic kite? the OR bar is a double line safety release meant to utilize their roll over bridle.. couple things wrong here.. once the rider winds up the trim line on the bar they should really wind a few lengths of one centerline effectively making it a single line flagging syst...

Re: OR Soul: is this over kill for cold water protection?

Great suits.. they need more maintenance than a wetsuit but are well worth the money... which is a lot! being comfortable during winter storms and rigging etc is so much nicer than a wetsuit.. wetsuits only warm up when you finally heat up some water... then you can flush all that toasty water out.....
